Repurposed felted hats.

All my hats are made out of recycled and repurposed 100% wool items such as jerseys and coats that have been felted to make them more dense in texture and therefore much warmer and often water resistant. The items are then cut up and sewn into fun and quirky hats. I use the cut offs such as the trims, buttons and pockets to make unusual embellishments, which makes each item a unique and once off.

Hats come in different sizes.  Please note that these sizes are approximates as individual items may vary slightly. Also that as the sides are soft, they can be folded up to make them shorter and change the style and look.

The best way to find your size is to measure the circumference of the head just above the ears and match it to the sizes below. I make most in the popular sizes of medium but will take requests to make larger ones

Adult Folded Rim Hat:

Small    (height:  9cm/ diameter: 16.5cm /circumference  56cm)

Medium  (height: 11cm / diameter: 18/ circumference  58cm)

Large  (height: 11.5cm/ diameter: 19cm/ circumference  59cm)

Very large (for lots of hair) (height:  11.5cm  diameter/ 23cm/ circumference  60cm+)
